All homeowners must pay their HOA dues every year and on time.
Statements will be mailed out to every homeowner around February 1st.
The Dues are $500 per year and payment is due by March 1st every year.
If your dues are not paid on time, late fees will be assessed.
The dues are set by the HOA's Board of Directors.
If you are late paying your HOA dues, you will have a $50 late fee accessed to your account. Your account may also be sent over to the attorney for collection.
If your account is turned over to the attorney, your wages may be garnished or a lien may be put on your home. You will also have to pay the attorney fees as well as any other collection fees for your account.
HOA Dues are used to obtain the income needed to pay for insurance, pool, landscaping, water, sewer, garbage, and all other community maintenance and repairs.
Any excess HOA funds that exist after paying for all of the pertinent services as described above are stored in an account called reserve funds.
