  • Plan and coordinate functions that will encourage fellowship, promote goodwill and enjoyment for The Parks at Durham Lakes residents.
  • Coordinate with Neighborhood Watch committee to help welcome new home owners.
  • Assist the Architecture/Landscape and Men of Purpose committees as needed with their community events.
  • Partner with Pool committee to assist with their calendar events.
  • Coordinate with Board or setup a link on the website for sick and bereavement.  So social committee can call, pray, or send out cards.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Chair and co-chair:
  • Primary contacts for scheduling club house rental.
  • Organize dates and time for social committee meetings.
  • Make sure the original condition of the club house is maintained.
  • Responsible for completing all necessary clubhouse rental paperwork and submit money to treasurer.
  • Welcome new home owners to the community.
  • Accomplish the goals set by the social committee.
  • Attend Board meetings as required/needed.

Members:
  • Plan and organize community social events as approved by the Board.
  • Committee should meet as needed to review, plan, and discuss social events.
  • Assist and attend events to welcome new home owners to the community.

Club House Rental:
$40 per hour
$150 for 4 hours and above
$50 for use of TV
$150 Security Deposit

You Must be current on your HOA Dues in order to rent the clubhouse.
